1. Download Vaisala software for configuration tool & install software plus USB driver

2. Connect the USB cable to the service port on the underside of the WXT530 and to your PC.
3. Check the port number for the device via the USB device finder.
4. Check data is flowing in the Vaisala configuration tool.
Note: You will hear a high pitch clicking sound if the unit is connected and sampling data.
5. Configure the RS232 / RS485 port (settings/device).
6. Close the Vaisala software checking the configuration is saved.
7. Launch GeoMoS, add the sensor type with the parameters above and test the connection with the USB cable still plugged in.
8. Configure the device this is to connect to Teltonika RUT955. Open the services menu to the RS232/485 page then the RS485 tab. Enable it and duplicate the settings from the WXT530. By default stop bits and data bit are setup to 8 and 1.
Select TCP Server and add a port number of 9002 for the RS485 interface to forward to.
9. Configure the Teltonika RUT955 to have a static IP address so you can always find it.
10. Connect the WXT530 wires the Teltonika RS485 port looks as follows:

On RUT955 loop D_N to R_N, then connect to the Data- (blue) on the WXT530 cable
On RUT955 loop D_P to R_P, then connect to the Data+ (grey) on the WXT530 cable
On RUT955 connect Ground to the Data Ground (green) on the WXT530 cable
Do NOT install the termination jumper inside the Teltonika
11. Device power for the WXT530 will need to be connected externally as the RUT955 will not supply power on the RS485 line. Thus the following connections are required on the WXT530 cable.
GND (red) to –ve on the battery (black)
+Vin (brown) to +ve on the battery (red)
12. Should device heating be required then these connection may also be required to be wired as follows on the WXT530 cable.
GND for Vh+ (pink) to –ve on the battery (black)
Vh+ heating (yellow) to +ve on the battery (red)
13. Return to GeoMoS, add the sensor type with the parameters above and test the connection with the connection via the router.
14. Within GeoMoS, add the sensor to the measurement cycle editor and ensure the TPS sensors have Meteo corrections enabled.
